Revelation 3:14-22 (ASV)
And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write:
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eyesalve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

Đến với Chúa áo dài phủ gót,
Đầu đội mũ tràng thánh vinh thay,
Hai bàn tay nâng vật tế lễ,
Tính mạng an toàn đến gần Ngài.
Chúa nói Lao-đi-xê không áo,
Lõa lồ thuộc linh trước mặt Ngài,
Lối cư xử tinh sạch không có,
Cần mua áo trắng ngay hôm nay.
Ngôi nhà gì Chủ nhà ngoài cửa,
Lao-đi-xê hâm hẩm, thiu ôi,
Không nóng cũng không lạnh tỏ rõ,
Mất sự thông công, Chúa nhả rồi.
Kiêu căng lên mặt biết mọi sự,
Lao-đi-xê kiêu ngạo thuộc linh,
Thần ái hội Anh Em sở hữu,
Hội nầy ngạo mạn chẳng thấy mình.
Hội Tin Lành có quyền giáo phẩm,
Hội Anh Em thần quyền thuộc thiên,
Lao đi-xê rối beng dân chủ,
Tân khóa sinh trịch thượng cầm quyền.
Khốn khổ, nghèo, lõa lồ, mù mắt,
Đặc trưng ấy của Lao-đi-xê,
Có thuốc, có áo cần trả giá,
Sự sống tươi mới Chúa phủ phê.
Biết nhiều lẽ thật khách quan lớn,
Lao-đi-xê cỡi gió, đi mây,
Kinh nghiệm Chúa ít mà đùa giởn,
Miệng rao lời lí thuyết quá hay!
Vào thời đại Lao-đi-xê xuất hiện,
Hội thánh mất nếp sống bình thường,
Chúa chờ dân đắc thắng hậu tiến,
Cùng Ngài cai trị, tước vì vương.
